After all this time,
after all these years,
you still haunt me.
What did I do?
Why can you not be at peace?!

No matter how far I go,
no matter how far I run,
no matter how close I stay,
no matter how little I progress,
I can never be completely free,
regardless how alone you left me.

Leave me, ghost.
Leave me alone.
I do not believe in you
anymore.

Leave this place.
It is holy now...

Now that I know,
now that I understand.

Love is not for the weak.
hate is for them to eat,
to chew on its gristle,
and gain sustenance on its fat...

never to see or
understand happiness,
true happiness.
